MyHailo – the easy and dignified way to refuel

How does MyHailo work?

MyHailo couldn’t be simpler.

All you need to do is press the button on your MyHailo key fob to hail for help at the pump. This will alert petrol station staff that you need assistance.

The beacon in the window of the petrol station will glow red, then turn green to reassure you that someone is on their way to help. Just stay in the driving seat and a friendly member of staff will refuel your car. Simple.

Endorsed by Disabled Motoring UK and loved by users, MyHailo brings great service to your car for stress-free refuelling.

Frequently asked questions

We’re excited to say that we have rebranded with a new look and a brand new website, which has been redesigned to better support users. We’re investing in the product to increase the number of Petrol Stations in the MyHailo Zone. The Pinpoint labels and signage will be gradually replaced by the MyHailo branded stickers at petrol stations over the next 12 months.

If you have a Pinpoint key fob, don’t worry your current key fob will still work with all systems! We are providing all existing registered Pinpoint users with a new MyHailo window sticker. To receive yours, please contact us with your address and we’ll send one out to you.

Any Petrol Filling Station that is equipped with the Pinpoint system will have signage around the pump area to indicate it is available. The beacon device will also be visible in the window of the Petrol Filling Station.

To find out where your nearest Pinpoint equipped Petrol Filling Station is please use our locator.

Payment can be made by cash, signature credit and debit card, or fuel card. Chip and pin credit and debit card is currently not available, and we strongly urge you not to share your pin number with anyone if asked.

Once at a Service Station with MyHailo installed, pull up to the filling pump. Once there, by pushing the button on your MyHailo key fob a hail for help is made.

This will activate a red flashing beacon. The red flashing beacon indicates that your key fob is working and that a call has been made to let staff know you are waiting.

When your call is acknowledged the beacon will turn green.

Someone will shortly be on their way to assist you, without the need for you to leave your vehicle.

If the beacon does not flash red when the key fob button has been pressed, this can indicate a problem with your key fob or with the main system installed at the petrol station. To resolve this issue, follow the below steps:

1. Your key fob battery may need replacing – you will need a flat headed screwdriver to open the unit and replace the CR1220 battery. If you’d like assistance with replacing the battery, give us a call on 01732 223900 and we can talk you through it.

2. If a new key fob battery doesn’t resolve the issue then let the petrol station staff know that the system isn’t working. They will then report a fault to us and our engineers will be sent out to fix it.
